Hi everyone! I am Taylor Dunn and I am so excited to be the newest dietitian at Positive Nutrition. I just hit my three-year mark of being a dietitian and love it more than ever. I have worked in different areas of nutrition including pediatrics, cystic fibrosis, diabetes, mental health and all over the inpatient hospital but working with the disordered eating population is my true passion.
I myself struggled with disordered eating patterns in the past so I can understand the frustration that comes with an unhealthy relationship to food. I also know how much it hinders your life and prevents you from putting time & energy into your true priorities. I love helping my clients be empowered to make their own nutrition choices by giving them the knowledge and tools to do so. Nutrition, exercise, health and wellness are not “one size fits all” so my job is to help each client find what works best for them. I can promise you that a healthy relationship with food and your body will change your life. It takes time and effort to get there but it is so, so worth it!
In my free time, you will find me cooking a new recipe, trying a new coffee shop, going for walks or lifting weights, traveling to a location with a beach, reading on the porch, attending football games, riding horses or listening to a podcast.
I love working with adolescents, teens and young adults but I am accepting patients of any age! I am in network with Cigna and should be in network with United, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, DMBA, UofU, PEHP by mid-September (crossing my fingers, I’ll keep you posted)!
